This product is a worksheet that supports young people in becoming aware of how trauma and emotions feel in their bodies. Young people can select an emotion and use the additional sheet of feeling prompts to describe what feeling corresponds with what emotion. This process can be an activity where the feelings are cut out and stuck on the body part in which they are felt. There are additional blank feeling circles where young people can describe and/or draw other feelings that may not be represented.
Knowing where and what young people feel in their bodies is the first stage of recognising when an emotion is present in order to respond positively.
